Day 15 of 29 Faces

Day 15:  ACEO: The Schnoz

Schnoz refers to the large nose on this guy.  I remembered the term from watching Jimmy Durante on TV as a kid, a very young kid.  They referred to him then as The Great Schnozolla.

ACEO refers to the size - 2½” x 3½” - also called an ATC or artist’s trading card. Signed by artist. Complete contact info on back - comes in a protective sleeve.  The photo looks bigger, but it is truly the size of a baseball card.  Original, not a copy, painted with acrylics on heavy paper.

  2. This is so vibrant and full of energy which is impressive in such a small size! I love that you're on track with the 29 faces challenge, I would sometime like to participate in that, but I think I'm too late for it this time around...

  4. Thanks, Mary, Lisa and Tracey! So pleased that you took time to comment on my blog. I do love the colorful watercolors I use. You can still join the 29 Faces challenge even if you are halfway into it. The challenge does help me keep painting every day.
