PENNY PAINTS: Hopefully this blog will inspire you to have confidence in your abilities and give you courage to learn and try new things. I currently take Watercolor classes to broaden my interests, and I even tried oils recently. It's a whole new world! Try something NEW. It could be just what you need to make you a better artist, or a better person. Right now I am doing Freeform Crochet. It's like painting with yarn!
Another Challenge on Daily Paint Works, this time to do a painting which is a cross between Impressionism and Expressionism, Mid-ism? Anyway, I tried. I have no idea if I succeeded, but I just love this one. Much less detail than my realistic pet portraits. They provided the reference photo. Auction Here
