How about a trip to the Seashore?
6x6 Acrylic on Gessobord 1/4 inch thick
Another Challenge on Daily Paint Works, this time to do a painting which is a cross between Impressionism and Expressionism, Mid-ism? Anyway, I tried. I have no idea if I succeeded, but I just love this one. Much less detail than my realistic pet portraits. They provided the reference photo. Auction Here

ReplyDeleteHi Penny,
ReplyDeleteI see you are really on a mission, good for you! I just dropped off a truck load of stuff at a local mission and still working on purging the house of more stuff, feels liberating however I run the risk of returning home with more. I can't leave without checking for art supplies but I told myself I will not bring non- art stuff home lol…I'm not so sure that rule will stick!
Nice selection work Penny, the beach scene is gorgeous!
Take care and have fun with painting and donating, both two wonderful soul enrichers!
Annabelle : )
Thanks, Annabelle! I am still painting more pieces than I am giving away, so I am not sure how much I am accomplishing!
DeletePenny, the huge envelope FILLED with goodies for ATC making arrived in my home! I am simply thrilled to have all of this wonderful gift from you. Thank you so much and I will be putting it all to good use. I didn't realize I'd be getting a huge amount of art from you of your ATCs. Thank you for that too. I am beside myself in knowing how to thank you enough! Lucky me. Lucky me.
ReplyDeleteAnd seeing all of your art here simply delights the eye as well! Happy Saturday!
