Hopefully this blog will inspire you to have confidence in your creative abilities and give you courage to learn and try new things. Try something NEW. It could be just what you need to make you a better artist, or a better person. My latest obsession is Amigurumi Crochet, and my favorite subjects right now are Hollywood Icons, Famous People and Characters.

29 Faces: Day 9

Day 9 of 29 Faces in Feb 2013:  Teenager ACEO

This one has an abstract quality with bright colors against stark white background, with black pen details.  I think it looks a bit like my grandson.

ACEO refers to the size - 2½” x 3½” - also called an ATC or artist’s trading card. Signed by artist. Complete contact info on back - comes in a protective sleeve.  The photo looks bigger, but it is truly the size of a baseball card.  Original, not a copy, painted with acrylics on heavy paper.

  1. You are too kind! Sometimes I feel guilty that these are so easy for me. But 50 years of practice and 10 minutes of painting, right?
