Still Pouring and Painting
I have been making lots more acrylic pours this week, experimenting with new mediums, including Elmer's Glue All and Floetrol, using Silicone, but also doing some regular painting stuff.
This one was a combination of acrylic pouring and dragging a sharp stick thru the paint. I did it twice. The one above is an ACEO 2.5 x 3.5 inches, and the one below is approximately 2x3 mounted into a 4x5 mat so it is ready to frame. I may do more of these. We used to do something similar in Tole Painting called Rose Stick Roses, using a dowel that was sharpened on one end.
ACEO Mac and Cheese was created for a Daily Paintworks weekly challenge to paint brands.
ACEO Never Too Much Mustard was done for the same challenge on DPW
ACEO Dish Soap - another DPW entry
This is the latest challenge on DPW to paint people in motion. 5x5 Man Walking.
