Done for his birthday this Feb 7 and for Day 1 and Day 2 of #30paintingsin30days!

Alcohol Ink on 6X6 inch cradled board.

  3. These are alcohol inks?!!! How do you control where it goes? I have seen how it swirls around doing its' own thing before. Great portraits.

    1. Hi, Gloria, These are Alcohol Ink Markers which are easier to control, but you still get all the movement and bright colors of AI. I use a water brush filled with Alcohol for even more movement.

    3. I ordered mine from Amazon.com and they are pretty cheap, 80 pens for $40, Shuttle Art Alcohol Ink Markers. You need to use Yupo paper or photo paper or else glossy ceramic tiles or a surface that will let the inks move.
