Here is my Paint Party Friday PPF Painting
Here's "Big Red" weighing in at 1203 lbs.
6x6 Acrylic on wood
He is not actually one of the pigs from Ironwood Pig Sanctuary, but I liked his face and the colors in his coat, so he is my next one to auction off for charity on Ebay. The Ironwood Pig Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating the suffering of pot bellied pigs in Arizona and surrounding states by promoting spaying and neutering, assisting owners and other sanctuaries, and providing a permanent home in a safe, nurturing environment for those that are abandoned, abused, neglected, or unwanted. They are home to almost 600 pot bellied pigs. Can you imagine how much a 1200 lb hog would eat?
Awwww, he's so cute for such a big guy. Hope he does well for the charity auction!!
