This was another challenge on Daily Paintworks, working on shadows. It was not easy! LOL. Those spots gave me fits.

    1. It is fun, but I have trouble fitting the whole figure onto the 2.5 x 3.5 card. That's why their feet are generally not in the picture. I am working smaller and smaller.

  5. Nutcrackers! I love playing around and painting those. I had a friend who liked them so much I got pretty good at making nutcracker painting "things" for her. ;) LOVE your work. Thanks for sharing.

      Thanks for your kind words. The nutcrackers are fun to paint, and I have committed to doing 30 of them, so I am trying to vary the figures as much as possible without going into the character ones, sticking mainly to traditional. But the Rock Star was here, so I painted him.
