Illustration Friday: Glasses

"Incognito" Man with Glasses ACEO

This original ACEO in an abstract loose style. "Incognito" shows a movie star or famous person or just someone who likes to hide behind sunglasses. Done in very bright colors, with watercolor and fine liner work.

ACEO refers to the size - 2½” x 3½” - also called an ATC or artist’s trading card. Signed by artist. Complete contact info on back - comes in a protective sleeve. The photo looks bigger, but it is truly the size of a baseball card. Original, not a copy, painted with acrylics on heavy paper.

Day 27: Hitting the High Notes

ACEO:  Hitting the High Notes:  Another Face

This time it's a male, a man, a member of a barbershop quartet, trying to hit the high notes and having quite a struggle, I think.  The expressions seem to come out of the background quite unexpectedly, so I never know who will appear or what they might be thinking, until after the fact!  What fun!

Day 20: Self Satisfied, Smug, Arrogant?

Day 20:  Self Satisfied, Smug, Arrogant?
ACEO 2.5 x 3.5 inches

Only 9 more days in Ayala's 29 Faces Challenge.  Back to the Bright and Colorful abstract people.  This guy seems to be very self assured.  Middle aged hippie?  He knows he is still good looking, and has it all together, at least that's what his expression says to me.

Day 15 of 29 Faces

Day 15:  ACEO: The Schnoz

Schnoz refers to the large nose on this guy.  I remembered the term from watching Jimmy Durante on TV as a kid, a very young kid.  They referred to him then as The Great Schnozolla.
