and here are my 99 cent auctions on EBAY. All NFAC auctions start at 99 cents for one week, so search EBAY for more great art bargains.

ACEOs, Teapots for NFAC

Teatime at Nibblefest! Bidding on these ACEOs starts at 99 cents on Ebay.

See more of my art at www.pennyleestewart.com

Obviously, I cannot decide what style I prefer to paint in, or what medium to use. The Red Teapot is very loose style watercolor and pen, Blue one in the middle has a thick heavy application of acrylic done in a painterly style, and flowered Blue and White teapot on the bottom is a Folk Art style done with acrylic. The dots on the doily were done with a stylus.

More ACEOs this week . .

Poppies, very impressionistic, heavy impasto acrylic

Boston Terrier, realistic style, acrylic on textured background

Very loose style, done with Tradio Pen and ink, "Moo Cow."

Pink Ballet Slippers, ACEO, Tradio Pen and watercolor

Repurposed Cowboy Boots, used as a planter. WC, Pen and Ink.

PPF, Lucid Dreaming, Jersey Cow, 4 matted Posies in Pots

What I did this week

A Challenge on PMP:
I painted this for a music art challenge on www.Paintmyphoto.ning.com. There were 8 pieces of music to listen to, and after picking my favorite,  I found a photo reference on PMP and painted while listening to the musical poem. I chose a very serene piece to interpret. The painting is kind of surreal, I think.
12x16 Acrylic on Canvas Board - "Lucid Dreaming"

Another Challenge this week:
In my Aceo on Ebay Facebook Group, the challenge was to paint an ACEO 2.5 x 3.5 inches, from this photo of a Jersey cow.
I zeroed in on the face, cropped it, and used acrylic on heavy paper for my cow.

Four Paintings for one price:  I painted and matted these flowers this week.

These 4 ACEOs have been matted and come with a free mat board backing, and are sealed in cellophane sleeves. They are ready to frame and hang on a wall. Think of it as a splash of color for that dreary place in your den, kitchen, powder room or boudoir. They could be displayed in groups of 2 or even all 4 together. I am going to sell them as a "set" of four 5x7 matted florals, similar to my "Posies in Pots" series that I have been doing for Artomat. Each one fits nicely into a standard size 5x7 inch frame. I saw some cute 5x7 frames at the dollar store last week, so this would be a great way to start a miniature art collection for a minimal cash investment.

These hand painted acrylic flowers are one of a kind, unique works of art that could be given as presents for Christmas or Birthdays, as thank-you, hostess or housewarming gifts. At $20 for all 4 paintings, including shipping, this is a great bargain.
